pastor mark driscoll
preaching pastor at mars hill church

Abuse of God's daughters doesn't need to take place exclusively in a relationship -- you might consider his tactics "liberal" but he speaks the truth: the church often lacks men who are committed to being godly men who combat compromise, apathy, and selfishness through the pursuit of reflecting Christ to fellow brothers and especially sisters in the church.
For further reflection on this idea, see 1 Corinthians 4:15-16 wherein Paul encourages believers to imitate him for the sake of the Gospel.

Having taken Pastor Driscoll's message with a grain of serious salt, take some time to understand that despite our failures as men, Christ loves of us still and this love remains permanently.
As Paul says in Romans 5:8 ESV, "...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
